More questions answered
Can a mobile locksmith make a car key if I have lost every copy?

Guardian can make replacement keys without an original for supported vehicles. Tell us that all keys are lost, along with the year, make, model and parking location. We check the key system and equipment before confirming the visit.

Can you cut and program a car key where the car is parked?

Many supported key-cutting and programming jobs can be completed at the vehicle. We need a safe, accessible place to work and confirmation of the vehicle details. Call before arranging a tow so we can check whether mobile service fits the job.

Should I rekey or replace the locks after moving into a home?

Rekeying changes which key operates a compatible cylinder. It may suit locks that are in good condition. Replacement can make more sense when hardware is damaged, worn or unsuitable for the access you need. We inspect the door and lock before explaining the options.

How does the $29 service-call fee work?

The $29 service call is separate from the work. The technician assesses the job, explains the required work and confirms the total before starting. Ask when the service-call fee applies when you book.

Which parts of Dallas-Fort Worth do you serve?

Guardian is based in Forney and provides mobile service across 30 named DFW-area cities, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, Richardson, McKinney and Rockwall. Call with the exact address to confirm current availability and an arrival estimate.

What warranty do you provide?

Warranty coverage is on parts only, not labor. The coverage varies by part, and the technician explains the terms for the specific part on site.
